Arlington’s Most Expensive Homes for Sale

Arlington has the most expensive real estate market in Virginia, according to a late 2012 report by Coldwell Banker. Here in Arlington, the average home surveyed costs more than four times as much as a comparable piece of property in Danville (the state's most affordable market).

111 Chain Bridge Road—This home hasn’t been on the market in 55 years and is now listed for $6 million. It sits on 2.75 acres less than a mile from the McLean border with Potomac River views, four bedrooms and three baths. (Don’t let the McLean address fool you, it is technically inside the Arlington County line.)
2923 N. Glebe Road—This home has four bedrooms, four full and two half baths, two terraces overlooking a golf course, a separate dressing room in the owner’s suite and more. It is listed for $4,995,000. Note: 2927 N. Glebe Road and 2921 N. Glebe Road are also for sale in the same development.
