A single-car crash involving a county vehicle was reported at North George Mason Drive and North Sixth Street Wednesday afternoon.

The crash occurred just after 1 p.m., when the county car struck an electrical pole and guard rail, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The driver, an adult male, was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries, said Dustin Sternbeck, public information officer for the department.
