Why Go: According to the event listing, "Every Sunday, lululemon offers free yoga classes, open to all levels of experience. No need to bring your own mat, they'll provide you with one. The classes are lead by a different volunteer teacher each month. No need to RSVP, just show up and get your zen on!"

2. Wine Night at the Movies

Where/When: Arlington Cinema 'N Drafthouse, 2903 Columbia Pike, Arlington; Friday, wine tasting at 6:15 p.m., movie at 7:20 p.m.

Why Go: If you're not in the mood for an outdoor movie (See No. 5), then make your way to the the Cinema 'N Drafthouse for Wine Night at the Movies. This week, the cinema will play Hangover II. Haven't seen it yet? You know you want to.

Pricing: Wine is $2 per "taste," or 6 "tastes" for $10. Movie tickets are $5.50 - a steal!

3. First Saturday Civitan Garage Sale and Flea Market

Where/When: Washington-Lee High School, 1301 N. Stafford St., Arlington. Saturday, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Why Go: Skip the mall and peruse this once-a-month flea market at your own pace.

4. "Wicked" at The Kennedy Center

Where/When: The Kennedy Center, 2700 F St., NW, Washington. Friday, 7:30 p.m. Saturday, 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Sunday, 1:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.

Why Go: My husband and I went last week and it was so much fun. I wrote a short review of it earlier this week on Georgetown Patch. Be sure to make time to see it soon if you're planning to go - the show only runs through Aug. 21.

Pricing: Tickets range in price from $37 to $250.

5. Rosslyn Outdoor Film Festival

Where/When: Rosslyn Gateway, 1911 Fort Myer Dr., Arlington. Friday 8 p.m.

Why Go: This week's movie will feature SNL actors such as Andy Samberg, Bill Hader and Will Arnett in "Hot Rod," rated PG-13. Make sure to pack chairs, popcorn and your sense of humor.
