Metro Police: Alcohol, Fare Violations at Ballston Metro in June
Several alcohol violations reported at Ballston-MU Metro station in June.
Metro Transit Police responded to more than 600 calls systemwide in June, according to the agency's most recent police blotter. The following incidents occurred at or near the Ballston-MU and Virginia Square-GMU Metro stops.
Ballston-MU
June 4, 4:55 p.m. – Failure to pay established fare.
June 8, 5:46 p.m. – Theft and fraud.
June 15, 4:53 p.m. – Alcohol violation.
June 15, 5:05 p.m. – Alcohol violation.
June 18, 4:24 p.m. – Failure to pay established fare.
June 18, 5:21 p.m. – Failure to pay established fare.
June 22, 4:37 p.m. – Drunk in public.
June 30, 6:01 p.m. – Alcohol violation.
June 30, 6:02 p.m. – Alcohol violation.
Virginia Square-GMU
Metro Transit Police reported no incidents at the Virginia Square-GMU station in June. The Virginia Square Metro Station is one of the safest in Virginia.
