The biting cold, more than the light snow to hit Arlington, seems to be the biggest inconvenience so far — though morning commutes were difficult and Arlington Public Schools started on a two-hour delay.

But more snow is likely on the way. The National Weather Service indicates a 90 percent chance of snow on Friday, mostly between 1 and 9 p.m. Accumulation of less than 1 inch is possible.

Thursday night's low is forecast to be 19 degrees. Friday's high should be near 28.

By Saturday, the weather service predicts Arlington will see mostly sunny skies and a high near 33 degrees. Sunday's high is forecast to be near 35.
