Police: Arlington Woman Arrested Following Domestic Dispute
Woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend during an argument.
A 47-year-old Arlington woman has been arrested and charged with unlawful wounding following a domestic dispute, according to the Arlington County Police Department.
At about 2:45 a.m. Tuesday, police say Kim Rene Gaines stabbed her boyfriend during a fight.
The two were at Gaines' residence, in the 2900 block of South Glebe Road, police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck said.
Sternbeck did not know what the couple was arguing about. He said during the altercation, Gaines picked up a kitchen knife and cut the man around his face and left arm.
"I don't know who you would call the aggressor, but she took extremes by using a weapon," Sternbeck said.
The man, who police have not identified, was treated and released from an area hospital.
