Readers' Choice: Best Place to Buy Flowers

Which florist/flower shop do you prefer in the Rosslyn-Ballston corridor?

Mother's Day will be here before you know it. And if you know what's good for you, you'll get mom flowers. She did, after all, spend years of her life trying to make sure you turned out OK.

So, this week we're asking readers to tell us the best place to buy flowers in the Rosslyn-Ballston corridor. We've included a couple of florists, plus neighborhood grocery stores that sell flowers.

By all means, if your favorite isn't included, feel free to add it in the comments section below. And don't stop at our poll: Give your vote weight by adding a rating and review on Patch Places.

Voting in the poll below is open until 9 a.m. Friday.

Because this poll is not scientific, it's not the only consideration in choosing a winner. Each Patch editor will determine winners based on poll results and ratings and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch. Comments, ratings and reviews are weighted when we determine a winner.

Be sure to check out nearby Patches in Georgetown, Falls Church and Del Ray, which are hosting their own Readers' Choice contests.

Also: Because readers asked for it, we added Bakeshop to last week's contest and extended the voting to determine who has the best cupcakes. Haven't voted? Tell us what you think.

And don't forget to like Clarendon Patch on Facebook to get regular updates on how the contest is playing out!

Company Flowers is great for all kinds of gifts, but Westover Florist (now called Blanca's Bridal and Westover Florist) has been our go-to florist for years. They've also hired lots of local teens for their first job, which is a wonderful thing.

Saeeda's is definately one of the best customer service business' i have been too and delt with. That is one of the biggest plus in my book to any business. I was definately satisfied.

Saeeda is very knowledgeable and she's determined to make her clients happy. She made my wedding bouquet and it was exquisite to say the least. I wanted the plain boring red bouquet but she convinced me to add champagne colored roses (my dress was dress and champagne) to the bouquet and the end result was stunning. I love her work and highly recommend her!

Saeeda's blooming flowers - very happy with the product quality and customer service they have always provided. I am a repeat customer and will continue to use them :).

Although the owner of Wilson Florist of Roslyn is a talented floral designer, her customer service skills leave much to be desired. Furthermore, her flowers are not of the highest quality and do not last long enough or bloom well enough to justify paying florist prices.
