The "links" in the Emmanuel logo are us, members of Christ's body, who are integrally linked to him. We take our shape and direction from him. The "E" doesn't stand for our local church so much as Christ himself, in the middle of our connected lives, that are connected because of the cross. Also, the "E" is kind of "now you see it, now you don't." Christ's presence in our lives doesn't always seem obvious to us, and we'll "see" him more on some days, less on others. But he's always there, regardless.
