Arlington's History with the Nazi Party: WAMU has an interesting piece looking at Arlington County's uneasy relationship with George Lincoln Rockwell, the one-time head of the American Nazi Party. Rockwell and his "storm troopers," as they were called, came to Arlington in the late 1950s. The party's headquarters was on Randolph Street in what is now Ballston. Read WAMU's report here.
