Restaurant Week(s), Fair Trade in Westover, Crystal City Toastmasters and More

Five things in and around Arlington County for Tuesday.

Restaurant Week(s): DC's Summer 2013 Restaurant Week started Monday, but some of the participating Arlington restaurants aren't satisfied with just one week: Willow, for instance, is offering its Restaurant Week menu for 13 days. La Tasca in Clarendon started offering its menu a week early and will continue to do so through Aug. 31.

Support Fair Trade: Trade Roots, a fair trade store at 5852 N. Washington Blvd. in the Westover community, announced Monday night that it has formed a partnership with the Maasai and the Leakey Collection. (More info here.) The store is meeting with several fair trade groups early this week and is taking customer suggestions for store items on its Facebook page.

Crystal City Toastmasters: Sharpen your public speaking skills. The Crystal City Evening Toastmasters meeting is 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Aurora Hills Library, 735 18th St. S.
