Arlington Rotary Fundraiser Banquet - 24 Apr 2014

Please make plans to join us in a fundraiser to benefit the Arlington Rotary Education Foundation (AREF). All proceeds will go to support AREF's annual scholarships and stipends for graduating Arlington High School Seniors. The event will be Thursday, 24 April from 6:30-9:00 pm at China Garden Restaurant, 1100 Wilson Boulevard in Rosslyn. The cost is $50 per person or $95 per couple (cash or check made out to AREF). The price does not include wine or drinks. The food will be a selection of 11 different dishes served family style. A cash bar is available. The evening's program includes a silent auction, information on the scholarship program, and a keynote address by Dave Foster, former chair of the Arlington County School Board, and past president of the Virginia Board of Education. There is free parking with validated ticket under the building from the entrance on Wilson Boulevard. This year we are featuring a new addition to the line-up - Mahjongg. We will begin this table game at 9 pm for those that would like to stay and play after the banquet. If you would like to learn to play Mahjongg, we are offering free lessons from 5:30 to 6:30.
