Three industry experts—Joe Zamoiski of 1st Portfolio Lending, George Papakostas of Long & Foster, and George Glekas of GPN Title—will give an informative but laidback talk about the process of buying a home. Joe, George, and George have years of experience between them in the DC and Arlington markets, not to mention hundreds of successful transactions.

They’ll cover the home-buying process at a high level, including:

  • Steps to finding a home you like.
  • The offer, negotiation, and closing process.
  • Financing, including loan approval and figuring out what you can afford.
  • The state of the local market in DC and in Arlington.

In addition to explaining the above, the purpose of the seminar is to answer your questions.  The seminar attendance is kept small in order to give ample attention to all questions and attendees. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions during the Q&A section of the seminar, or afterwards if you’d prefer to ask a private question directly to one of the speakers.

How Long?

The speakers will present for 45 minutes to an hour. After that there will be questions and answers for about a half hour, when the seminar officially ends. But Joe, George, and George will stick around as long as necessary to answer all questions. If you have a question you want to ask privately, you’ll have the opportunity to do that.

How Much?

Tickets to the seminar are $15 per person if you buy ahead of time or $20 at the door.
