$1 Million Powerball Ticket Purchased in Arlington

An unclaimed Powerball ticket for Wednesday night's drawing was reportedly purchased at Mia's Market and Deli in Arlington.

A $1 million winning Powerball ticket for Wednesday night's drawing was purchased at Mia's Market and Deli, located at 1607 South Glebe Road in Arlington.

The ticket matched Wednesday's winning numbers, 5-15-18-26-32, but missed the Powerball number, 35.

The ticket was one of three in the nation to win the prize by matching the first five numbers. The other two winners are from California and Maryland.

The owner of a winning ticket purchased in Sterling for the June 21 Powerball drawing has yet to come forward.

Ticket holders have 180 days after the drawing date to claim their prize. The Virginia Lottery advises players to sign the back of their winning tickets to establish ownership. Once the person is ready to claim the prize, he or she should contact the Virginia Lottery at (804) 692-7777.
