All public schools in Fairfax, Loudoun and Prince William counties will be closed Monday.

Arlington County announced some facilities would be closed Sunday night due to the weather but, at the time, the forecast was for only rain by Monday morning. As of 9 p.m. Sunday, the National Weather Service forecasts rain or freezing rain for Arlington until 2 p.m. Monday.

5am? I'm already driving to the school at 5am for the 6am before care. What conditions will change between 4am and 5am or what about midnight like the other schools. This is a very strange policy.
