Arlington County Street Sweeping Schedule: May 13-17

Street sweepers have begun servicing Arlington roadways, the county Department of Environmental Services has announced.

The service, according to a news release, is designed to help reduce runoff into the Chesapeake Bay and make cleanup efforts more efficient.

The county is asking residents in affected neighborhoods to move vehicles into a driveway, garage or street outside of the sweeping area on their community's street sweeping day.
