Film-Inspired Fashion Show Coming to The Artisphere in Arlington

There is no charge for admission, but donations are welcome and all proceeds will benefit the Family Crisis Center

Coming soon to Artisphere: A film-inspired fashion show.

On Wednesday, June 4, area fashionistas will gather at 4 p.m. for The Art Institute of Washington's “Scenes to the Runway,” for its fashion show at The Artisphere, 1101 Wilson Blvd. 

There is no charge for admission, but donations are welcome and all proceeds will benefit the Family Crisis Center, a local charity (www.familycrisiscenter-pgco.org).

The fashions will be inspired by a diverse set of movies, such as Skyfall, Fast & Furious, American Hustle, The Hunger Games and The Great Gatsby. Each scene will showcase styles from one of the movies. 

All makeup services, garments and accessories displayed at the show will be donated by local makeup artists and retailers. For more information about the fashion show, visit https://www.facebook.com/ScenesToTheRunway.
