Flight Cancellations, Delays Continue at Reagan National, Dulles on Wednesday

Greater Washington area won't see temperatures climb above freezing until this weekend.

A number of flights into and out of Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport and Dulles International Airport saw delays or cancellations again Wednesday thanks to the snow that blanketed Northern Virginia a day before.

Passengers didn't suffer nearly as many setbacks as Tuesday, during the actual storm, but plenty were still inconvenienced.

Out of about 450 scheduled departures from Reagan National on Wednesday, 80 had been cancelled and another 39 delayed as 4 p.m. approached, according to the website FlightStats.com.

Parts of Northern Virginia could see a slight chance of snow Thursday afternoon, and much of the region won't see temperatures rise above freezing until this weekend — and even then, only by a few degrees.
