Moran to Host Forum on Immigration Reform

Event is Tuesday night at Kenmore Middle School

U.S. Rep. Jim Moran will host a community form on immigration forum Tuesday night in the Kenmore Middle School auditorium.

An estimated 10 million to 11 million undocumented immigrants live in this country, and reforming the system to "resolve the status" of these individuals could add more than $800 billion to the U.S. gross domestic product over the next decade and create more than 100,000 jobs per year, according to Moran's office.

The congressman will be joined by Arlington County Board Chairman Walter Tejada and representatives from the Center for American Progress, the National Immigration Law Center and the American Immigrants Lawyers Association.
