This Week: $10 Rabies Shots for Cats and Dogs at Animal Welfare League of Arlington

Clinics begin at 6:30 p.m. and are open until 8:30 p.m.

Is your dog or cat up to date on their rabies vaccination?

If not, you can update their vaccination this week at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington, located at 2650 S. Arlington Mill Dr. in Arlington.

The League holds regular low-cost rabies vaccination and microchipping clinics. Clinics begin at 6:30 p.m. and are open until 8:30 p.m. Avoid the crowd by coming the last hour and be sure to dress for the weather.

Cats and dogs can be vaccinated for $10 per pet. All pets must be on leashes or in carriers. Please note, all cats and dogs over the age of four months are required by law to have a current rabies vaccination.

If you want your pet to get a three-year rabies shot, you should bring proof of a prior rabies shot (a rabies certificate, not a tag). Without it, your pet will receive a one-year shot.
