The Belly Dance Carnival takes place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Saturday at the arts center. Tickets are $20.
The event is being put on by the D.C.-based Sahara Dance, which gives Middle Eastern dance classes. Egyptian dancer Mohamed El Sayed will be performing.
