Arlington Community Band Fall Concert

The Arlington Community Band (ACB), under the direction of Mr. James Kirchenbauer, will play its fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 30, 2010, at H-B Woodlawn Secondary School, 4100 Vacation Lane, Arlington, Virginia.  The program will feature favorite band selections, including pieces by Vaughan Williams and Sousa.

The H-B Woodlawn Band will also perform on the program. The Woodlawn band is conducted by Mr. Carl Holmquist.

The ACB is a wind and percussion ensemble under the auspices of the Arlington Adult Education Program.  Inspired by the great tradition of municipal bands, the Arlington Community Band is an ensemble that not only provides an opportunity for local musicians to gather and play, but also serves to promote the importance of music and music education in our community.
