Missouri State Concert Chorale in Concert
The Missouri State University Concert Chorale will perform in concert on Friday, May 20 at 7:00PM at the Resurrection Lutheran Church, 6201 N. Washington Boulevard, in Arlington. The public is invited to attend without charge.
The program will consist of "Latvian Bourdon Songs" by Tormis, "Three Latin Hymns" by Schnittke, a Persian song "Upward I Aries, by Betinis, "Es ist genug" by Sandstrom, "Hymn to St. Cecilia" by Britten, German Folksongs arranged by Hawley, and works by Monteverdi, Handel, Kreek, Wertsch, Gretchaninoff, and a commissioned work by Susan LaBarr, "Grace Before Sleep."
