Arlington Public Schools is inviting students, staff and community members to the dedication of the new Wakefield High School at 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
The dedication and a ribbon-cutting ceremony will be followed by an open house of the new $120 million facility at South George Mason Drive and Dinwiddie Street. Self-guided tour stops include the school's town hall, computer labs, art room, band room, a science lab and the kitchen.
Further, an opening ceremony will be held for the new aquatics center at the school at 3:30 p.m. The aquatics center will host an open house afterward until 6 p.m.
Due to limited parking, Arlington Public Schools is encouraging attendees to park at one of three other locations, which will have shuttle service every 15 minutes starting at noon Sunday.
The last shuttle will leave Wakefield at 5 p.m. Sunday.

- Arlington County Trades Center, 2700 S. Taylor St.
