Arlington Grocery Stores Open on Christmas

Check the holiday hours for Giant, Harris Teeter, Safeway, Trader Joe's and Whole Foods.

The menu is planned, the roast is marinating... and you realize you forgot to buy more butter.

Several grocery stores are open on Christmas — but not all of them. Here are the hours for Arlington's more popular grocery stores:

Giant, 3450 Washington Blvd. — Open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Christmas Eve; 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Day

Giant, 3115 Lee Highway — Open until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day

Giant, 2901 S. Glebe Road — Open 6 a.m. to midnight Christmas Eve; open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Day

Giant, 2501 S. 9th St. — Open until 7 p.m. Christmas Eve; open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Day

Harris Teeter, 600 N. Glebe Road — Open until 7 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day

Harris Teeter, 900 Army Navy Drive — Open until 7 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day

Harris Teeter, 4250 Campbell Ave. — Open until 8 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day

Safeway, 1525 Wilson Blvd. — Open until 8 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day

Safeway, 3713 Lee Highway — Open until 8 p.m. Christmas Eve; open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Day

Safeway, 2500 N. Harrison St. — Open until 8 p.m. Christmas Eve; open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Christmas Day

Safeway, 5101 Wilson Blvd. — Open until 8 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day

Trader Joe’s, 1109 N. Highland St. — Open until 6 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day

Whole Foods, 2700 Wilson Blvd. — Open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Christmas Eve; closed Christmas Day
