Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Recruits Arlington Blogger

Simon Property Group rolls out nationwide 'style setter' program.

The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City announced Monday that it has recruited Arlington blogger Alison Coglianese, creator of Chain Strap Purse, to be a "Simon Style Setter."

Coglianese will provide "a local opinion on all things fashion and beauty" for the mall, which is owned by Simon Property Group.

She is one of 40 bloggers chosen from a pool of more than 700 applicants to be a part of the group's nationwide rollout. The mall posted sample blogs on its Facebook page and asked fans to vote as part of the selection process, according to a news release.

We look at ourselves as having a unique opportunity to be content curators,” said Jacque Ellis, vice president of corporate special events, in a statement.

Coglianese will post about trends, shopping tips, style guidance and "up-to-the minute items" available at the Fashion Centre.
