In Shirlington: Blue Sea Seafood Restaurant Closes to Regroup
Sign on the door of the Shirlington eatery says they are re-opening on June 16.
If you were thinking about stopping in to try out Shirlington's newest restaurant, Blue Sea Seafood & Bar, think again.
The eatery closed its doors over the weekend and left a note on the door saying they'll be reopening on June 16, according to a report in Northern Virginia magazine.
While the note says they are taking the time to "re-train" their wait staff, the magazine reports the restaurant has hired a new chef, Robert Alexander.
The restaurant is located at 4251 Campbell Ave. in Shirlington Village.
Other than the note on the door, there is no updated information on the restaurant's Facebook or Twitter account.
