Moms Invited to 'Indulge' at Pentagon City Event in Arlington

Pentagon City is going all-out for Mom next week, on Thursday night, May 8, a few days before Mother's Day.

The mall, located at 1100 S. Hayes St. in Arlington, is putting the word out about the night out for moms, dubbed "Indulge." It's sponsored by Diet Coke and promises a "fun, fashionable shopping experience," according to a news release from the mall's parent company, Simon Property Group.

The event is scheduled from 5-8 p.m. on the shopping center's ground-level floor and includes style consultations, beauty services, refreshments, giveaways and retailer offers throughout the mall.

Additional "Indulge" night offerings, according to the news release, include:

·         Stylish Sights and Sounds: Local musical performers and visual artists will transform the mall’s atmosphere, organizers say, "into a chic, lively entertainment event venue." Brooke Ryan and the promotional team from radio station Mix 107.3 FM promise to "rock the house" with tunes from your favorite artists.

·         Participate in makeovers and mini massages, sip on signature mocktails from Harry’s Smokehouse and more.

·         See the latest signature styles from The Fashion Centre at Pentagon City stores with two fashion shows presented by District Fete at 6 and 7 p.m., in the Nordstrom wing of the mall.

“Many moms are long overdue for – and certainly deserve –  a break to celebrate themselves and all they do,” said Jayne Stilson, assistant vice president of Business Development at Simon Property Group.
