Sephora Expansion, Renovation Complete at Pentagon City Mall

The high-end beauty retailer moves into Williams-Sonoma's former space in the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City.

High-end beauty retailer Sephora has new digs in the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City and is all dolled up for its 15th birthday.

The business opted for larger space during its last lease renewal at the mall and opened its new 4,000-square-foot store on May 16. Its former space, located nearby on the mall's ground level, stayed open while the new store was prepared.

Sephora's new location represents roughly a 1,500-square-foot expansion. The space formerly housed Williams-Sonoma, which left the Pentagon City mall earlier this year.

"As a recognized leader in cosmetics and personal care, the international retailer carries more than 200 brands of classic and emerging brands, including the private label Sephora line," according to a news release the mall issued Thursday. "Each store is equipped with an expert team of skilled product consultants to guide guests through their shopping experience."
