Taste of Arlington 2013 in Ballston Sunday
Some proceeds from this year's Taste of Arlington will benefit Arlington Food Assistance Center.
Thousands of hungry residents of Arlington and Northern Virginia will descend on Ballston this Sunday, May 19 for the 2013 Taste of Arlington, presented by the Ballston Business Improvement District (BID).
The event is from noon – 5 p.m. on Sunday on Wilson Boulevard between North Glebe Road and North Randolph Street.
According to the Ballston BID, Taste of Arlington is the “largest food+beer+wine+art festival showcasing the diversity of Arlington's food scene and attracting over 15,000 food lovers from all over the region. More than 40 of Arlington's favorite restaurants and most exciting chefs will serve up their specialties at this year's festival and this is your chance to sample them all!”

This year, some of the Taste of Ballston proceeds will go to the Arlington Food Assistance Center, a non-profit that helps Arlingtonians in need of food assistance.

Admission is free. You must buy ticket books ($35) to sample food. Each ticket book has 10 tickets.
You can purchase tickets online and bring your confirmation email with you on Sunday. There will be two will-call locations open (one at the corner of N. Stuart Street and 9th Street, and the other at Wilson Boulevard and N. Randolph Street).
Other Things to Know:
- Alcoholic beverages will be sold until 4 p.m. with proper ID.
- Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed.
- The event will take place rain or shine.
