Organizers estimate 10,000 people attended 14th annual event.

An estimated 10,000 people descended on the heart of Arlington on Saturday .

About lined the streets selling everything from jewelry to apparel, old magazines to framed artwork.

If you spent a few minutes around the Clarendon Metro, or on the blocked portions of Wilson or Clarendon boulevards, you may have overheard neighbors running into one another. In front of Hard Times Cafe, one woman chastised her boyfriend: "We should've gotten here two hours ago!"

The mouth-watering smell of ribs, chili, pizza, Thai food and made-on-the-spot doughnuts, among many other items, wafted through the air. Parents would ask children if they got enough to eat; it was hard to see how they couldn't!

Matt Hussmann, who , called the day a success. The alliance organized the event, with a generous helping hand from the , which booked bands near and far for two stages.
