Vrooom! Maserati Car Dealership Roaring Into Arlington

Car dealership and service center takes the place of M. Slavin & Sons, the seafood store that left the area three years ago.

Three years after M. Slavin & Sons moved from their location at 2710 S. Glebe in Arlington, a new business is finally moving in with some vroom and zoom: Maserati of Arlington, a dealership and service center.

The plans are for the company to knock down the current building and build a brand-new 18,000 square foot showroom according to Maserati dealer Alex Macatuno.

The Italian car manufacturer is a 100-year old company that makes luxury vehicles in the $100,000 range; the company's headquarters are now in Modena, and its emblem is a trident. It has been owned by the Italian car giant Fiat S.p.A. since 1993.

Keep up with the new Maserati business on their Facebook page.
