Do you have a connection to Diabetes? Enjoy event planning? Enthusiastic about giving back to your community? Passionate about riding for a cause? We are looking for a committee of energetic and motivated volunteers to help us grow the Northern Virginia Tour de Cure. The Tour de Cure is the American Diabetes Association’s signature cycling event which takes place in 80 markets across the country. The Northern Virginia Tour de Cure is one of the top ten in the nation and we are looking to hit our $1,000,000 fundraising goal in 2014! Individuals interested in getting more involved can take a leadership role in one of the following categories: Marketing and Publicity, Fundraising, Route Creation and Logistics, Day of Event Experience, Bike Shops and Training Rides, The Diabetes Mission, and Volunteer Management.
