Get Out: Wine in the Water Park, Georgetown Tailgate and More

The weekend is here! How are you going to spend it?

When/Where: 11:30 a.m. Saturday starting at McDonough Gymnasium.

Why Go: Enjoy food, games and facepainting at the tailgate. Then cheer on the hometown team in the Georgetown vs. Yale football game.

When/Where: 6 to 10 p.m. Friday at the Crystal City Water Park, 1750 Crystal Drive

Why Go: Every Friday in September, Crystal City mixes "sips and sounds" with a selection of wines and tunes. Crystal City's Washington Wine Academy and local DJ Adrian Loving provide the offerings.

Price: Free to attend, cash bar

When/Where: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the .

Why Go: Enjoy a morning paddle on the Potomac River and a series of clean water advocate speakers. Later in the day help clean up the waterfront.

Price: Free.

When/Where: 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday at Artisphere's Spectrum Theatre, 1611 N. Kent St., Arlington

Why Go: René Devia of Colombia, Julio González of Mexico and Lorenzo González and Julie Crystal Peña of Paraguay are among the harpists performing this weekend.

Price: Tickets are $30 for adults, $25 for students and seniors, and $10 for children ages 7 through 13.
