The casting call will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City, according to a news release.
Models who are chosen for this year's expo will get a chance to meet top designers, have portfolio pictures taken and the chance to walk in front of a crowd that will include scouts from New York modeling agencies, the release states.
DC50 will also host an advance screening of "Emily Owen, M.D." at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the Fashion Centre. That show debuts next month.
The expo itself will be held on Oct. 20 at the Washington Convention Center. This year's hosts include J. Alexander — Miss J from "America's Next Top Model" — and K Street Kate's Kate Michael.
It features multiple fashion shows, free makeovers, book signings and meet-and-greets with celebrities. Anya Ayoung-Chee, winner of the ninth season of "Project Runway," and Nikki Poulos from NBC's "Fashion Star" will headline the fashion shows.
