3rd Annual ReelAbilities: Greater DC Disabilities Film Festival - Closing Night!
The Jewish Community Center of Northern Virginia (JCCNV) is excited to
present the 3rd Annual ReelAbilities: Greater DC Disabilities Film
Festival! ReelAbilities is dedicated to promoting awareness and
appreciation of, the lives, stories and artistic expressions of people
with different abilities. This unique festival presents award-winning
films in locations throughout the Greater DC area. The screenings are
accompanied by discussions and other engaging programs that bring
together the community to explore, discuss and celebrate the diversity
of our shared human experience.

Closing Night!
Wampler's Ascent
This screening is presented by Booze Allen Hamilton
Recommended for all ages.
Steve
Wampler, who has cerebral palsy, needs to do 20,000 pull-ups to climb
the famous El Capitan Mountain in Yosemite. His family cheers him on,
along with fans who have come to support his important mission. In 2002,
Steve founded a camp for kids with disabilities and his climb will be a
testament to the idea that kids with disabilities can do anything to
which they set their minds.
Before the film, Hugh Gregory Gallagher Theatre presents a performance by the Gallagher Gang
