BLOCK PARTY!!

Come join us for some food, music fun and games all for a good cause. Activities and fun for all ages! There will be kids’ games, relays, a moon bounce, water games, face-painting, beading and more. Adults can view and purchase original artwork from Honduras and have a chance to bid on restaurant certificates, services, wine-tasting, and goods in a Silent Auction. Music will be provided by the CUMC Praise Band, Mariachi singer Adelina Longoria, and our organist J. Reilly Lewis. There will also be some demonstrations like flower-arranging. Our menu is all-American: grilled hamburgers, hotdogs, veggie burgers, chips, watermelons, beans, brownies, and lemonade.

All proceeds will go toward the purchase of a solar generator for the Leadership Center for women, a project of Art for Humanity - www.artforhumanity.org. Art for Humanity serves women in Honduras, the second poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
