JCCNV 6th Positive Aging Fair

The community is invited to the JCCNV’s Sixth Positive Aging Fair: Tools

for Creative Aging.

The fair comprises interactive and informative

programs promoting active aging through healthy lifestyles that help us

live longer, more independently and more positively. The fair is geared

for Northern Virginians who are in their 50s and older.

Fair participants may attend two workshop sessions, one in the morning and one following lunch.

Morning workshops:
- Managing Your Lifestyle Transitions: How Do You Begin?
- Save Your Memory and Your Mind: Seven Steps to Better Brain Health
- Relationships and Dating for the Boomer Generation — and Beyond
- Away We Go: Tips for Trips
- Improving Your Posture with Core Strength: How Working Your Abdominals Will Alleviate Back Pain and Make You Feel Younger

Afternoon workshops:
- Nutrition and Alternative Therapies to Support Positive Aging
- It’s Never Too Late To Reinvent Yourself
- Age Does Have Its Perks
- Villages Concept: Neighbors Helping Neighbors Age In Place

Early
Bird Registration: $18 includes admission, workshops and kosher lunch.
Registration after November 14: $18 includes admission and workshops.
