Looking for a fun way to talk to your tween about drugs & alcohol?
Thursdays, October 24 – December 12 (once a week for seven weeks). Strengthening Families Program (SFP)/Fortaleciendo la Familia. SFP is for all Arlington families with youth ages 10 to 14. It is a fun and engaging opportunity for families to join together and discuss issues related to tweens (resisting drugs & alcohol, stress, and setting goals). Parallel sessions offered in English and Spanish. Swanson Middle School. 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. Catered dinner and childcare for children younger than 10 provided. (Scheduling notes: no meeting the week of Thanksgiving (11/28), we will decide how as a group how to handle Halloween, for those participating in the "Challenge Racism" program at Swanson, there is a conflict on 11/7 and 11/21 and we will offer SFP makeup opportunities.)
