Marketing Boot Camp - June 19, 20

This two day boot camp teaches students marketing fundamentals, the basics of digital marketing (social media / search engine optimization) and culminates in a hands-on lab with a live client. Students develop the marketing plan for an author's new book and apply the lessons learned to an actual campaign.

The training will be held for 2 days on June 19, and June 20 from noon until 7pm and includes the following sections: 

Day 1

1. Introduction to Marketing
2. Digital Marketing Fundamentals
3. Marketing Campaign Management (Project Management)

Day 2

1. Reinforcement from Day 1
2. AP Writing Style
3. Contemporary Book Publishing / Marketing
4. Hands-On Lab With an Actual Client, Author

Prior to founding Augur Marketing in 2009 Richard Lewis, the main facilitator at this seminar was the International Director of New Media & Partnerships at the Youth Federation for World Peace and has worked in a variety of highly regarded organizations including Freddie Mac, and the Points of Light Foundation. Richard has been managing search engine optimization (SEO) campaigns and website design for several decades and has a strong background in social media and online outreach.
