 Arlington, VA (9.30.13) – In celebration of the arrival of the exciting new Mercedes-Benz CLA, RedPeg Marketing, a leading experiential agency, and Mercedes-Benz of Arlington have teamed up to create an invitation-only launch party.  The event will take place at Mercedes-Benz of Arlington on October 3rd at 6:30 pm.

The CLA, Mercedes-Benz first car under $30,000, is the perfect example of affordable sophistication.  The premier compact four-door luxury coupe is the first front-wheel drive Mercedes-Benz vehicle available in North America.

“The CLA is a car that does not confuse mid-range with mediocrity,” said Dr. Dieter Zetsche, Chairman of the Board of Management of Daimler AG and Head of Mercedes-Benz Cars.  “Its powerful design underscores the sporty side of the Mercedes-Benz brand.”


 


To make the night memorable, accredited Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week photographer Walter Grio will take fashion shots of guests with the CLA and post them to his fasiontographer.com site. A lottery will be held with prizes from Mercedes, the NY Film Academy, Dover Downs, Nival Salon & Spa, Michael Andrews, BakeShop, and C. Wonder. In addition, The View Apartments will be sponsoring an open bar for event-goers.


 


The exclusive party has an invitation list comprising of the Washington DC-area’s most popular socialites and bloggers however, limited spaces are available for the public. The launch party will unveil the Mercedes-Benz CLA, and guests interested in test-driving the vehicle can sign up, but there’s a unique twist . . . Mercedes-Benz of Arlington will actually drive the car to the guest’s home or office for a turn behind the wheel.


 


Onsite, guests will enjoy entertainment from DJ Saam, passed hors d’oeuvres, and high-end refreshments including two signature CLA cocktails: The Benz and the CLA. They will walk away with a gift bag of Mercedes-Benz merchandise, and items from Chima, PRZ Man, Washington Life Magazine, Kron Chocolate, Virginia Tobacco, Safeway, and other local vendors.
