7:15 – 8:00 pm Intermediate Country Two-Step lesson
Lessons taught by Mal and Linda
8:00 – 11:30 pm  Dance hosted by Ed Cottrell and Gail Crum playing a Country/Swing DJ music mix

$15 for the entire event - includes lessons and loaded snack bar • no experience or partner needed

Hosted by the Colvin Run Citizens Association, a 501(c)(3) public charity • donations welcomed

About Mal and Linda Zerden:
Mal & Linda competed in national country-western dance competitions (UCWDC) for eleven years and are two-time Diamond Showcase World Champions.  In the past they were voted Best Over 35 Country-Western Dance Couple and were awarded the prestigious Feather Award. They have been teaching group classes and private lessons and performing since 1993.
Their teaching style is easy-going and fun. They focus not only on moves, but also on proper lead, follow, and frame to make dancing as comfortable as possible for their students.  They held a monthly dance at The Dance Factory in Arlington, Virginia for over 18 years, and now hold monthly dances at their new venue, Crown Dance Studio in Fairfax, Virginia.  They also teach dance workshops in New York twice a year at the Tim Gillis Dance Weekends.
