Christmas Tree Recycling in Arlington County: What to Know
Arlington County's annual Christmas tree recycling program kicks off in January.
Arlington County's annual Christmas tree recycling program is Jan. 6 through Jan. 17.
Residents are asked to remove ornaments, lights and decorations, take the tree out of its stand and bring it to the curb by 6 a.m. on their regular trash day. Do not put the tree in a plastic bag.
Each year, the county collects more than 9,000 Christmas trees to recycle into mulch.
