Happy Presidents Day: Free Hotcakes for Active Military Personnel

Bring your ID or wear your uniform.

In the military and hungry?

Bob Evans is providing free all-you-can-eat hotcakes at its restaurants on Presidents' Day, Monday, Feb. 17.

The Ohio-based company says 8 percent of its home-state residents are veterans, and it wants to show its gratitude to all who serve.

“It is because of these brave men and women that we continue to enjoy the freedom our founding fathers fought for,” Bob Evans Restaurants President Randy Hicks said in a news release.

Guests must provide proof of service, including: U.S. Uniform Services Identification Card, U.S. Uniform Services Retired Identification Card, Current Leave and Earnings Statement (LES), or Veterans Organization Card (i.e., American Legion and VFW). Or, just wear your uniform.
