Street Level: Haze on Wilson, Never-Was and No-Longer
The creepy black and red building located at 3540 Wilson Blvd. has been demolished.
Ever wonder about that creepy back and red building, next to the , located at 3540 Wilson Blvd.? I certainly did, until alas, it was torn down Friday.
Demolition continues on the building today, but what was the story behind this out-of-place building? The sign on the door said "Haze" but it was never opened as Haze.
According to Yelp.com, 3540 Wilson Blvd. was once home to RendezVous Cafe, a French cafe. (All four of the reviews on the site are from 2007.) Chowhound also offers reviews of RendezVous Cafe from 2007.

ARLnow.com reported on Friday that the county purchased the building over a year ago, and will turn the space into a park.
