Transgendered US Navy SEAL Kristin Beck: An Art Gallery Show and Fundraiser

Come and see the work that saved a Navy SEALs life after 20 years in combat and the public acknowledgment of her life as a Transgendered woman. This event is being held to benefit The 296 Project.

Kristin Beck is a former United States Navy SEAL who gained public attention in 2013 when she came out as a transgendered woman. Miss Beck served for 20 years in the Navy SEALs and took part in 13 deployments, including seven combat deployments. She was a member of the United States Naval Special Warfare Development Group, a special counter-terrorism unit popularly called SEAL Team Six.

The 296 Project is a Nonprofit Veteran Service Organization. Their mission is to provide, promote and produce art and creative programming as a therapeutic means to combating the painful symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
