2 Killed in Arlington House Fire

Victims have not been identified.

A two-alarm fire killed two people and destroyed a house on the 1900 block of S. Langley Street, according to the Arlington County Fire Department.

Calls of the fire at the two story home came in at about 3:40 p.m., and residents told arriving firefighters that other occupants of the house were still inside.

“Units made an aggressive push to search for occupants upon arriving on scene,” Deputy Fire Marshall Brian McGraw told ARLnow.com. “It took probably a good 12 to 15 minutes to knock the fire down just because of the size of the fire.”
