Arlington Crime: Teen Robbed of Gold Bracelet; Woman Reports Cell Phone, Cash Burglary

The following are the latest crimes that have taken place in Arlington County, from the Arlington County Police Department.

ROBBERY, 140624009, 4900 block of S. Columbia Pike. At 1 a.m. Tuesday, a known male suspect robbed a 17 year-old female victim of her gold bracelet. Russell Gaskin, 23, of Arlington was arrested and charged with robbery, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, and assault and battery.

BURGLARY, 140623032, 1000 block of S. Quebec Street. Between 6:30 p.m. on Friday and 6:45 p.m. on Sunday, a known male suspect violated his protective order and burglarized a female victims residence, taking cash and her cellphone. Marino Gomez, 34, of Arlington, was arrested and charged with burglary and a violation of a protective order. He is being held without bond.

ATTEMPTED BURGLARY, 140623027, 4000 block of N. 40th Street. Between 11:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on Monday, an unknown suspect(s) forced entry into a residence. It is unknown if anything has been taken. The suspect is described as a black female in her 20s, wearing a pink shirt and black shorts.
