An Arlington man was arrested and charged over the weekend after investigators said he touched a minor inappropriately, according to information police released Monday.

Aurelio Guzman Vargas, 58, was charged with aggravated sexual battery, according to the Arlington County Police Department.

The alleged incident occurred between 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. Saturday in the 4200 block of South 13th Street, which is in the Douglas Park neighborhood.

The victim was not related to Vargas, police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck told Patch. He described the victim only as a "young child."

At this point, investigators believe the incident to be an isolated one, Sternbeck said.

He declined to comment further.

Vargas is being held without bond.

This makes me so angry, I hate when people victimize children! This sick-O deserves what's coming to him!

I like how you are the jury, and automatically agree with the accusations.

He should hope that I'm not the jury... I don't know the facts if this case but I do know that far to many children are victimized by those they know. I hope he is not guilty, that's one less victim
