Arlington Police Seek Public's Help in Wells Fargo Bank Robbery

Bandit robbed Courthouse-area bank at about 1 p.m. Friday.

Arlington County police are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating a man who robbed a Courthouse-area Wells Fargo bank on Friday.

The robbery happened at about 1 p.m. Friday.

The bandit, whose initial description was tweaked with the release of several video stills taken from surveillance cameras, was said to be a man between 5-foot-6 and 5-foot-9 with a thin build and short beard.

He was wearing a black, hooded zip-up jacket, dark-colored pants and a black bonnie hat at the time of the robbery, according to police. A bonnie hat is round with a circular brim.
