Crime Report: Dec. 15 - Dec. 21: Trespassing Arrest for Base Jumpers

The following arrest information was supplied by the Arlington County Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

This week's crime report, as released by the Arlington County Police Department, includes the arrest of five people for trespassing and base jumping off a privately-owned radio tower. Find the rest of the report below: 

"ROBBERY, 12/15/11, 2000 block of Jefferson Davis Highway. On December 15 at 10:50 am, a man brandishing a handgun robbed a female escort of cash. The suspect is described as an African American male in his late 20’s, 5’6” and 180 lbs. He was wearing a white t-shirt reading “Myrtle Beach”, jeans, a black jacket, and a black knit cap. 
ROBBERY, 12/16/11, 1200 block of S. Courthouse Road. On December 16 at 12:15 am, two unknown men brandished a knife at another man and demanded money. The suspect fled in a black two-door sedan. They were both African American males in their 20’s. 
ROBBERY, 12/20/11, 3700 block of S. 5th Street. On December 20 at 1:20 am, three unknown men surrounded a man walking home. They displayed a handgun and robbed the victim of money and clothing. The suspect fled in a dark colored Honda Civic driven by a female. The first suspect was a white male in his early 20’s, 6’ with a thin build, brown hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a black coat and jeans. The second suspect was a white Hispanic male in his early 20’s, 5’3” with a muscular build, black hair and a full beard. He was wearing a black coat. The third suspect was a white Hispanic male in his late 20’s, 5’4” with a stocky build, wearing all dark clothing. 
BANK ROBBERY, 12/15/11, 3400 block of Columbia Pike. On December 15 at 3:20 pm, an unknown man entered a bank, implied that he had a weapon and demanded money. After receiving cash, the suspect fled on foot. The suspect is described as a white Hispanic male in his early 20’s, 5’7” to 5’8” with a medium build.  He wore a black hooded jacket and dark pants.  
ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 12/15/11, 200 block of N. Glebe Road. On December 15 at 10 pm, a woman walking from a store was surrounded by three unknown men, and pushed several times. A man from the store yelled at the suspects and they fled. The suspects were white Hispanic men. 
ASSAULT AND BATTERY, 12/20/11, 3900 block of N. 5th Street. On December 20 at midnight, a man was walking home and was assaulted by an unknown subject. The victim was intoxicated and had no further details. 
TRESPASSING-ARREST, 12/14/11, 5200 block of N. 19th Street. On December 14 at 10:50 pm, five people climbed a privately owned radio tower, and one jumped from it. Kristin Stewart, 48, of Litchfield, CT, Mark Krasinski, 48, of Somers, CT, Katherine Sanpedro, 30, of Alexandria, Robert Morgan, 25, of Fairfax, and Justin Miller, 30, of Annandale, were all charged with trespassing and released on a summons. 
EXPOSURE, 12/18/11, 500 block of S. 22nd Street. On December 18 at 1:45 am, an unknown male exposed himself to two women walking to their car. The suspect is described as an African American male in his 30’s, 6’1” and 240 lbs. 
COMMERCIAL BURGLARY, 12/19/11, 3800 block of Four Mile Run Drive. Between 7 pm on December 18, and 8:45 am on December 19, an unknown person broke into a service station and stole various items. There is no suspect description. 
ATTEMPT BURGLARY, 12/20/11, 4300 block of Lorcom Lane. Between noon on December 16 and 9 pm on December 19, an unknown subject attempted to break into an apartment building maintenance office. There is no suspect description. 
LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 12/15/11, 2500 block of S. 5th Street. Between 10 pm on December 14 and 5 am on December 15, an unknown suspect broke into at least four vehicles in the same neighborhood. Various items were stolen. There are no known suspects. 
LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 12/15/11, 2000 block of S. Quebec and S. Pollard Streets. On December 15 between 1 am and 6:30 am, an unknown suspect broke into at least six vehicles in the same neighborhood. Various items were stolen. There are no known suspects. 
LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 12/15/11, 400 block of S. Edgewood Street. Between 6 pm on December 14 and 8 am on December 15, an unknown suspect broke into at least seven vehicles in the same neighborhood. Various items were stolen. There is no suspect description. 
LARCENY FROM AUTO (SERIES), 12/20/11, 100 block of N. Columbus Street, 500 block of N. Jefferson Street, and the 5600 blocks of N. 5th and N. 7th Streets. Between 9:30 pm on December 19, and 7 am on December 20, an unknown suspect entered at least 12 unlocked vehicles in the same neighborhood. Various items were stolen. There are no known suspects.
